![]() ![]() According to Audacity's documentation, I should be lookingįor a "USB Audio Codec" as a recording option in my PCs sound tray. When I connect the Pyle device it shows up in the sound tray as a recording device "USB PnP Microphone". Waves" are exactly the same for the right and left channel, and the resultant MP3 is 2-speaker MONO, not stereo. As you view the recording process in Audacity, its clear that the left and right channel are identical. However, the computer (running Windows 8) only recognizes the Pyle machine as being a "USB PnP microphone", evidently with only a mono signal. I am able to record the music from the cassette and convert it to MP3. I have all the settings in Audacity set up to record in stereo. ![]() I've hooked the unit up to my computer via the USB port as directed,Īnd downloaded the recommended Audacity. I am trying to convert stereo cassettes to stereo MP3s using a Pyle Cassette to MP3 converter.
